I hate to break it to you, but most big-name companies don’t care about your health. What they really care about is how well their product is performing. And they’ll put absolutely anything in them to get a certain result.
You may be thinking, “Well, people aren’t running around blaming their health concerns on their home products, so how are they dangerous?” The problem with that is that we should. Most big-name products are full of ingredients that are considered hormone disruptors, carcinogens, irritants, the list goes on.
What’s more, there are little to no guidelines on what companies can and cannot put into their products. The FDA themselves have even publicly written about how little control they have! So it’s time to take control of your health and educate yourself on the harsh chemicals hidden in our everyday products!

How Did My Journey Start as a Natural Lifestyle Blogger?
I have been on a journey to a healthy, chemical-free lifestyle since 2012. A simple pinterest search to grow my hair out led to a mind-blowing revelation that most of our home and beauty products are dangerous for our health! As a result, I started to gradually replace any products I deemed unsafe with homemade and safer store-bought products. And I didn’t stop there.
Ballet has been a passion of mine since I started it as a hobby over 13 years ago. Since then, I’ve learned that everyone needs a little ballet in their life. You’ll find that a small portion of my blog focuses on how everyone can use ballet every day. So that’s where the “moves” come into Essential Moves to Wellness, both literally and figuratively. But I quickly realized that a healthy lifestyle is more than just the right products.
The stress of college, combined with limited access to ballet, left me feeling like a shell of myself that I knew could be so much better. Thus began my journey of living a chemical-free, natural lifestyle, along with bettering my mental health and prioritizing consistent exercise.
